It must be the season for weddings. Oh, wait, I thought that was June! Seems that may have been the case once upon a time, but often weddings are later in the year. I know of a few upcoming, so I took advantage of the the theme for Global Design Project 099
for this wedding card. For even more inspiration, I loosely based this card on the challenge from My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #345
For this card I only used Very Vanilla card stock, a scrap of vellum and some of the Copper Foil sheets. Yesterday’s card also was Very Vanilla and Copper. I guess I am on a roll with the copper.
The card base is very vanilla as is the first mat, both inside and out. Next is the copper mat, and for the front, the design panel.
To make this I first ran some Very Vanilla and the Softly Falling embossing folder through the Big Shot. Then, using one of the centers I cut from the copper panel I cut a heart with the largest die in the Sweet and Sassy set. Using the third largest on the inside of the heart, I cut again, leaving a frame.
Hmmm. Now there is an impression on my heart from the inner die. To disguise it I searched through my embossing folders to find one with an all-over swirly design and finally found an old Darice folder that I thought would work. Ahh, yes. No more ring around the heart!
Using the second largest heart die I cut one in Very Vanilla on which to stamp the sentiment.
After rubbing my Embossing Buddy over the panel and stamping the sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set in Versamark and heat embossing with copper emboss powder, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the Softly Falling panel.
The rose and leaves are from the Graceful Garden set and were stamped with Versamark on Vellum scraps and heat embossed in copper. Before stamping, I used Embossing Buddy to eliminate stray embossing. These I fussy cut (one rose, two leaves) and attached with glue dots.
This art panel was Tear & Taped to the copper foil, which was then liquid glued on the Very Vanilla mat and onto the card front.
The inside received the same treatment as the outside, Very Vanilla mat, Copper and sentiment panel. The entire sentiment panel was rubbed with the Embossing Buddy before stamping.
The Sentiment panel was decorated with the same rose and leaf from Graceful Garden in Versamark and copper heat embossed. I debated about embossing the verse and decided to just do it. This sentiment is also from Beautiful Bouquet. 
When the card was finished I decided that was enough copper so only used Sahara Sand ink for the the medium Very Vanilla Envelope, stamping the same rose and two leaves as for the card on the front.
My brain said, “Enough of the flowers. How about some hearts?” I reverted to the Sending Love stamp set for the little flourish with the heart on the flap. All done. I am pleased.
